Operation Warm Welcome Recruitment Opportunity
Those looking to fill staff vacancies might find 'Operation Warm Welcome' helpful. This is the Government’s programme to settle people who have arrived in the UK as a result of the evacuation of Afghanistan. As part of this programme the DWP is seeking to find work and permanent housing for these arrivals and to help them integrate into UK life. Those available through the scheme have a wide range of skills, experience and English-language ability and are scattered across England, Scotland and Wales. The matching process helps connect employers and other organisations to DWP, who can then offer opportunities for training or jobs for Afghan citizens resettling in the UK. Sick Pay
The Statutory Sick Pay Rebate Scheme (SSPRS) has been temporarily reintroduced to support employers facing heightened levels of sickness absence due to COVID-19. If you’re a small or medium-sized employer with under 250 employees, you may be eligible to claim for up to two weeks per employee for COVID-19 related absences from 21 December 2021. Tender Procurement Opportunity
Wired-Gov have now opened registration to the Supplier Locator Procurement Gateway and they are now recruiting a variety of Suppliers for the registration period of January 2022.
The invitation is open to SMEs and suppliers that are able to deal with enquiries relating to fast tracked, lower value government & public sector contracts.
